KKS Lech Poznań's King Køng got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 4 played minutes KKS Lech Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Polek. Józef Mlynarczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Urbez in the 7th minute of play. Józef Mlynarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Keller, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Goren Puget had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Kiepski. Samuel Keller scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Józef Mlynarczyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KKS Lech Poznań's Josef Masný was substituted for King Køng. In the 17th minute Marcus Gantenbein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Mlynarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maciej Kiepski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Józef Mlynarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Urbez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Josef Masný took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Goren Puget to make any attempt to save it. Józef Mlynarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Gantenbein in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Maciej Kiepski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Goren Puget, 2-2. Marcus Gantenbein took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Józef Mlynarczyk. Józef Mlynarczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 39th minute Isidoro Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Mlynarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fryderyk Hajto lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. KKS Lech Poznań:s Józef Mlynarczyk showed great skill when he stopped Marcus Gantenbein:s penalty. If Marcus Gantenbein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Józef Mlynarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Keller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

KKS Lech Poznań's Jacek Gdowik was substituted for Zula Werra. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Keller to strike the kick off in the second half. If Samuel Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Keller in the 55th minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. René Bähner hit a great ball. Leopold Nymann kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Józef Mlynarczyk made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Marcus Gantenbein sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by KKS Lech Poznań's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Gantenbein was slow to take the kick. During this time ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's players had a chance to rest. In the 70th minute, 陶永振 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Józef Mlynarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Keller in the 72nd minute of the match. KKS Lech Poznań's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Samuel Keller scored to the left of an out of position Józef Mlynarczyk, making the score, 2-4. Josef Masný kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Marcus Gantenbein shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Józef Mlynarczyk but with some difficulty. In the 95th minute Samuel Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Mlynarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KKS Lech Poznań fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
