The audience thought a goal was coming when 慕容 复 got free with Qiu Chuan Ran in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilton Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Israel Carvalhal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isak Björkdal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The TSIGALKO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. were winning 0-2.

TSIGALKO's Samim Nevsal got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 慕容 复 took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qiu Chuan Ran. Qiu Chuan Ran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Modesto Bras was substituted for Israel Carvalhal. TSIGALKO's Isak Björkdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save TSIGALKO from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Rodolfo Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isak Björkdal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 81 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Baldemer Feal came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
