FC Hugo's Maarek Nisu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogelio Barbosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Doug Bermudez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Illimar Sulg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stoycho Stamboliyski in the 26th minute of play forced FC Hugo's goalkeeper Illimar Sulg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Illimar Sulg managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Los Diablos Rojos's Doug Bermudez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute Robert Ojamäe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes, Taavi Kapsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hugo and the Los Diablos Rojos players grew even worse after the yellow card.
