When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dário Colaço made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Ventura in the 54th minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Gonzalo Lixandro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eureka's Salvador Sordo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Faria got free with Salvador Sordo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laureano Portugal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiu Chuan Ran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Eureka's Salvador Sordo got control of the ball when Raimundo Ventura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Lixandro in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Sordo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salvador Sordo. That made the score 1-1 after 88 minutes of play. The Eureka supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A..
