Lisandro Luz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eureka's Dário Colaço was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogelio Barbosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dário Colaço in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Sordo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Doug Bermudez sent off a good shot on target. Salvador Sordo was a little too slow when Doug Bermudez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 18 played minutes Eureka got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Portugal. Salvador Sordo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Cloyo in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Los Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Valentim Castilho came free, but Rogelio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Dário Colaço shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dário Colaço blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogelio Barbosa having to make a save. The supporters of Eureka booed when Los Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Cloyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Eureka's Dário Colaço ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogelio Barbosa. Rogelio Barbosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Rogelio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Doug Bermudez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Luís Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Castilho, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 98 minutes into the game, Dário Colaço cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Rogelio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Los Diablos Rojos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Eureka's performance. The match ended with a win for Eureka.
