With an all-out effort, Disco Inferno FC's Vassilis Chatzipetrou threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Greger Lundkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the match, The Undertaker's goalkeeper Vassilis Chatzipetrou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ike Pears. 17 minutes into the match, Ike Pears had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vassilis Chatzipetrou. The Undertaker's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ike Pears was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Greger Lundkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vassilis Chatzipetrou. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 29th minute Ike Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Chatzipetrou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disco Inferno FC's Dale Gracey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Tzanetakos in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of The Undertaker booed when Disco Inferno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ike Pears didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akis Tzanetakos in the 35th minute of play forced Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Dale Gracey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, The Undertaker's Akis Tzanetakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dale Gracey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stratos Petroutsos during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Greger Lundkvist in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vassilis Chatzipetrou saved The Undertaker from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Lazaros Zoumakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Undertaker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 60th minute Greger Lundkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Chatzipetrou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vassilis Chatzipetrou came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Disco Inferno FC's Greger Lundkvist. But to his dismay, Greger Lundkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Undertaker's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stan Mackney was slow to take the kick. During this time Disco Inferno FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 69th minute Ike Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Chatzipetrou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Themos Serifis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Undertaker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Disco Inferno FC the free kick. Greger Lundkvist spun around in front of the goal 74 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of The Undertaker's goal. Vassilis Chatzipetrou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ike Pears, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lazaros Zoumakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vassilis Chatzipetrou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Quinane, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Stratos Petroutsos got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Disco Inferno FC booed when The Undertaker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Petroutsos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Disco Inferno FC's Ike Pears nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vassilis Chatzipetrou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Lundkvist in the 91st minute of play forced The Undertaker's goalkeeper Vassilis Chatzipetrou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disco Inferno FC's Ike Pears got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Disco Inferno FC were the better team. Disco Inferno FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
