Anthony Di Muzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ilie Brumaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Carbonaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Brumaru having to interfere. Gheorghe Chițan charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gheorghe Chițan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gheorghe Chițan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mark Evans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when AC Civetta Notturna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Colelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. Bernardo Carbonaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Brumaru having to interfere. AC Civetta Notturna's Anthony Di Muzio pulled a muscle in his leg after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Aron Mitruț fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cosula-BTF-'s protests and gave Aron Mitruț a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Mitruț to maneuver through the defense. The FC Cosula-BTF- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Cosula-BTF- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
