The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilie Brumaru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Baraja Española FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olimpiu Teodorescu was the one to do the kick off. Jeremias Lopez had several of the FC Cosula-BTF-'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Ilie Brumaru as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Artaldo in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Cosula-BTF- defense, Jeremias Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilie Brumaru. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilie Brumaru should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute Faustino Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Brumaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baraja Española FC's Baltasar Artaldo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mauro Laspada was slow to take the kick. During this time Baraja Española FC's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cosula-BTF-'s zone, Mauricio Galtero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Brumaru came out of the goal and Mauricio Galtero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petru Chirea hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Baraja Española FC's Mauro Laspada tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Artaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Petru Chirea got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Petru Chirea kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Artaldo in the 82nd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Seremet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Artaldo in the 86th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
