Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonardo Chico got the match started through his kick off. Valentin Theodore kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The long shot by Kim Alnes in the 6th minute really tested Leopoldo Ospin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Åsnes's Roman Bide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Ospin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kim Alnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Ospin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Alnes got free with Leopoldo Ospin in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kim Alnes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Ospin came out and tried to block the shot, but Kim Alnes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. If Petter Vartdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Federico Aimar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Necdet Baysu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sturle Åsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Derlanga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Federico Aimar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Åsnes's Sturle Åsland. Sturle Åsland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sturle Åsland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bondo Levidze went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Roman Bide struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Leopoldo Ospin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsnes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Alnes in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Ospin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Derlanga came free, but Sturle Åsland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Åsnes defense, Slawomir Derlanga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sturle Åsland. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sturle Åsland should have stopped the shot. After the first half Deuce Athletic Club were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-Einar Bøen to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Tadeo Iraitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deuce Athletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Åsnes's Roman Bide suffered a fractured collar bone after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Deuce Athletic Club getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Edgard Txilar hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the game, Federico Aimar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sturle Åsland. Federico Aimar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Haroldo Gaitan charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Gaitan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Haroldo Gaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match, Tadeo Iraitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sturle Åsland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Chico during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ray Man sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Federico Aimar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sturle Åsland. That made the score 1-7 in the 78 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Deuce Athletic Club's Federico Aimar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Kim Alnes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Ospin having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necdet Baysu during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Necdet Baysu hit a great ball. Petter Vartdal kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Deuce Athletic Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Åsnes throughout the match.
