GARIBALDI FC's attentive Guillermo Ezkerra managed to snatch the ball when Poyraz Erçetin made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Snorre Fonn hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Sturle Åsland was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Ambrosio Colas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ambrosio Colas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kim Alnes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Lázaro Ekain reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sturle Åsland. The goal made the score 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sturle Åsland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Benedicto Silbestre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sturle Åsland. That made the score 4-0 in the 21 minute of play. Rene Llorian came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Åsnes's Kim Alnes. But to his dismay, Kim Alnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Jon-Inge Nysæter was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Åsnes! The audience was convinced that Kim Alnes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Llorian was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 46 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Ezkerra. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Guillermo Ezkerra charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Ezkerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Guillermo Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sturle Åsland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Åsnes's Kim Alnes suffered a sore knee after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gustav Svensson's late challenge caught a Åsnes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of GARIBALDI FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Åsnes:s goal. When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Åsnes's John-Einar Bøen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rene Llorian. GARIBALDI FC's Eduard Hourani was substituted for Astor Colon. Kristian Sandersen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Rene Llorian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. GARIBALDI FC's Erubiel Dubardo was substituted for Lázaro Ekain. The supporters of GARIBALDI FC booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Snorre Fonn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-Einar Bøen to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes, Petter Vartdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the GARIBALDI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Petter Vartdal got a free kick in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Dubardo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sturle Åsland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristian Sandersen might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Llorian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristian Sandersen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Necdet Baysu. In the 97th minute of the match, Kristian Sandersen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rene Llorian was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. GARIBALDI FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
