Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Panopticon 04's Mark Vallin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Panopticon 04's zone, Lázaro Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabien Lafont came out of the goal and Lázaro Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Brandt in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Panopticon 04's Fabien Lafont got control of the ball when Tomas Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Gilbert Brandt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Colas in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabien Lafont saved Panopticon 04 from getting behind. Fabien Lafont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Ekain in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Lázaro Ekain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Jan Vestlund threw the ball into play from the sideline. GARIBALDI FC's Astor Colon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fabien Lafont was a little too slow when Lázaro Ekain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 38 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Colas. Rene Llorian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Brandt went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rene Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Brandt in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Gustafsson during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lázaro Ekain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fabien Lafont made a huge save. 48 minutes into the game, Panopticon 04's Gilbert Brandt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Llorian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Colas to make the kick off. In the 59th minute Gilbert Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by GARIBALDI FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. George Gustafsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Panopticon 04's players had a chance to rest. George Gustafsson made a great header on Panopticon 04's corner, it was just that GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian managed to reach the ball for a save. Benedicto Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, GARIBALDI FC's Benedicto Silbestre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabien Lafont made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Fabien Lafont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Fabien Lafont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Ekain in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Vallin in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Llorian saved GARIBALDI FC from getting behind. The nice shot from Gilbert Brandt in the 71stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rene Llorian had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Gilbert Brandt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Rene Llorian made a huge save. Rene Llorian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Vallin went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Panopticon 04's Fabien Lafont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Colas in the 86th minute of play. Mark Vallin might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Llorian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mark Vallin ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Panopticon 04's zone, Erubiel Dubardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabien Lafont came out of the goal and Erubiel Dubardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malte Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Ambrosio Colas fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARIBALDI FC's protests and gave Ambrosio Colas a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Colas. The GARIBALDI FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panopticon 04's performance. The match ended with a win for Panopticon 04.
