Boğaç Altuncuoğlu started the match with the kick off. Boğaç Altuncuoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guga de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. In the 6th minute Boğaç Altuncuoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute San Lorenzo 11 were awarded a corner. Silvio Asier went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Boğaç Altuncuoğlu sped through Xandeco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guga de Azevedo. When Boğaç Altuncuoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the San Lorenzo 11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boğaç Altuncuoğlu couldn't finish the play. Guga de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boğaç Altuncuoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Lorenzo 11's Silvio Asier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guga de Azevedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Boğaç Altuncuoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the San Lorenzo 11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boğaç Altuncuoğlu couldn't finish the play. Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 45th minute of play. Nicolas Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmund Balkiewicz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 57th minute of play forced Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Lorenzo 11 were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Xandeco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvio Asier took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Silvio Asier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guga de Azevedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guga de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 60th minute. Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sidro in the 62nd minute of play forced Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Boğaç Altuncuoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the San Lorenzo 11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boğaç Altuncuoğlu couldn't finish the play. In the last second Guga de Azevedo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Xandeco FC made a substitution. Dino Amorim replaced Luiz Torres. A collision led to Xandeco FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gilmar Velloso hit a great ball. Xandeco FC's Samuel Gonçalves was substituted for Hugo Vander. In the 83rd minute San Lorenzo 11 were awarded a corner. Silvio Asier went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Xandeco FC's goalie and right to Julio Quirze. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Xandeco FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Balkiewicz in the 86th minute of the match. Boğaç Altuncuoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Guga de Azevedo made a huge save. With his leg Guga de Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when San Lorenzo 11's Boğaç Altuncuoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Balkiewicz in the 94th minute of the match.
