After 5 minutes of play, Scofield's Feliciano Baumar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Baumar in the 9th minute of play. Guga de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Baumar went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Roberto-Carlos Brasil hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xandeco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alto Roca was slow to take the kick. During this time Scofield's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Scofield's corner Generoso Figueroa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guga de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Xandeco FC defense, Feliciano Baumar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guga de Azevedo. The Xandeco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guga de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Scofield getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fabio Iago hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Edmund Balkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Baumar in the 32nd minute of play forced Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Feliciano Baumar notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo. Guga de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Guga de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Valerius Ginsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Cayetano Urdin notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo. Guga de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xandeco FC's Dino Amorim was substituted for Luiz Torres. When Cayetano Urdin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Scofield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Urdin couldn't finish the play. Guga de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valerius Ginsberg in the 86th minute of the match. Valerius Ginsberg took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga de Azevedo. Guga de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Xandeco FC made a substitution. Geraldo Palmeira replaced Antônio Martins. Xandeco FC's Samuel Gonçalves was substituted for Hugo Vander. In the 93rd match minute, Xandeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Donato to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Xandeco FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Geraldo Palmeira hit a great ball. Guga de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerius Ginsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Generoso Figueroa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match was over Scofield could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Xandeco FC throughout the match.
