Jan-Åke Jönsson made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Damian Heriberto sent off a good shot on target. Amadeu Bacelar might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Guillen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeu Bacelar ran back to his position shaking his head.
