The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Jesus got free with Blas Cidro in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 5 minutes F.C. København's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anfilogino Cirone who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Ariel Jesus managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 9th minute of the match, Lonnie Crow tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Blas Cidro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Blas Cidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lonnie Crow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Abajas in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Pau Crespo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LosPibardos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pau Crespo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 minutes, Freddie Stavngaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. København and the LosPibardos F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C. København fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Blas Cidro had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Emesto Quintana's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, F.C. København's Blas Cidro got control of the ball when Ariel Jesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ariel Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Cidro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. København's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anfilogino Cirone was slow to take the kick. During this time LosPibardos F.C's players had a chance to rest. Ariel Jesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Blas Cidro made a huge save. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Erasmo Afonso with Terri Steenstrup as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 38th minute Lonnie Crow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lonnie Crow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Polkoski in the 44th minute of play forced LosPibardos F.C's goalkeeper Sven Hake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Polkoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Staalfos to make the kick off. LosPibardos F.C's Anfilogino Cirone quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Erasmo Afonso, made in the 54th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C. Sven Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When F.C. In the 79th minute Lonnie Crow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Abajas in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Galeno Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Cidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lonnie Crow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Galeno Chico made a precise shot to the right of Blas Cidro. F.C. København's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Blas Cidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lonnie Crow in the 98th minute of play. Galeno Chico hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. F.C. København's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
