After 22 minutes, Wit Chuchro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the Albins Kamrater players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Albins Kamrater booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wit Chuchro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Lundberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Amadeu Bacelar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edinho Paraíba, passed just outside the right post. Albins Kamrater's Amadeu Bacelar got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Albins Kamrater's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Chuchro came free, but Jan-Åke Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Amadeu Bacelar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albins Kamrater's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Bacelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Bacelar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeu Bacelar got free with Edinho Paraíba in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Neves in the 40th minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Vikström made a kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Wit Chuchro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wit Chuchro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 51st match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wit Chuchro to maneuver through the defense. Albins Kamrater's Jan-Åke Jönsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Albins Kamrater from getting a goal against them. In the 75thth minute of the game Amadeu Bacelar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pancho Villa. In the 78th minute of the match Maverick Futebol Clube got a corner. Albins Kamrater's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Deivid Goiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amadeu Bacelar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edinho Paraíba having to make a save. Edinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Bacelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amadeu Bacelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Bacelar, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Pancho Villa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Jan-Åke Jönsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 94 minutes of play, Albins Kamrater's Amadeu Bacelar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edinho Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there!
