Varennes's Gilberto Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Moreno in the 11th minute of play. Jörgen Haavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Odonnell in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Seth Luke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörgen Haavel. fc priben's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seth Luke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, fc priben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaspar Teppan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhelyazko Geranov in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Boone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurice Odonnell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Haavel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Filipe Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Boone was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. fc priben's Jörgen Haavel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save fc priben from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Boone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhelyazko Geranov's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. Jörgen Haavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Luke in the 56th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of fc priben's goalie and right to Seth Luke. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. fc priben's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 59 minutes into the match, Bernardo Goudreau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörgen Haavel. fc priben's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Goudreau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Birkan İkinci hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Varennes made a substitution. Titus Pineda replaced Bernardo Goudreau. In the 63rd match minute, fc priben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birkan İkinci to maneuver through the defense. Seth Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Varennes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filipe Moreno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 67th minute Maurice Odonnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Haavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Varennes's Maurice Odonnell got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Varennes fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Varennes's Maurice Odonnell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maurice Odonnell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörgen Haavel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Odonnell in the 84th minute of play forced fc priben's goalkeeper Jörgen Haavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Gay hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. fc priben's Jörgen Haavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Odonnell in the 91st minute of play. Varennes were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after fc priben's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Théophile Berger took the corner.
