The corner was taken by Rigoberto Inguma in the 12th minute. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Karl-Michael Brask made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. CA INCAS's Santiago Peruxu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goalkeeper Santiago Peruxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Brask. Adrian Isăilă made a great header on Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's corner, it was just that CA INCAS's Santiago Peruxu managed to reach the ball for a save. Karl-Michael Brask struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Santiago Peruxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti. Santiago Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Wagner Doro. Igor Kelemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Olayo in the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Brask in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Peruxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Inguma who took care of the corner kick. The corner led CA INCAS's Ubaldo Eguntsenti to fire away a dangerous shot which Igor Kelemen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CA INCAS's Santiago Peruxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save CA INCAS from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Michael Brask made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Rareș Hănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Hănescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Rigoberto Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CA INCAS's Santiago Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ponce Cruzado in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to CA INCAS getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Florentino Dunixi hit a great ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Peruxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 86 minutes, Adrian Isăilă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti and the CA INCAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armando Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
