The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Yung Gunners FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Traoré to maneuver through the defense. Fågelmara IK's Tom Colling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gýmir Gryc in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fågelmara IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arman Kristiansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Yung Gunners FK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Yung Gunners FK's Arman Kristiansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Tom Colling despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Yung Gunners FK's Maximilian Strömbom got control of the ball when Witold Lepucki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximilian Strömbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimír Kuthan in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Kazimír Kuthan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Strömbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimír Kuthan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Maximilian Strömbom made a huge save. After 24 minutes, Gýmir Gryc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yung Gunners FK and the Fågelmara IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximilian Strömbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tom Colling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Yung Gunners FK booed when Fågelmara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimír Kuthan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Colling made an important save on a dangerous shot by CJ Traoré in the 71st minute. Tom Colling was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but CJ Traoré showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Ivan Säf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amadeo Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesper Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Maximilian Strömbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Fågelmara IK's Alberto Chikeev made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximilian Strömbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Yung Gunners FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimír Kuthan came free, but Maximilian Strömbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Fågelmara IK were the better team. Fågelmara IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
