Jailson Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Loser FC. Jailson Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Amato in the 27th minute of play. New Loser FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vito Melo in the 29th minute. Alexandre Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. New Loser FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Breguete FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vito Melo took the corner. Vito Melo made a great header on New Loser FC's corner, it was just that Breguete FC's Jailson Soares managed to reach the ball for a save. Jailson Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Amato in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The New Loser FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing New Loser FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
