Firmo Canosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Martxot in the 5th minute of play. One of Guyu FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chanchos:s goal. The goalkeeper, Firmo Canosa, was totally fooled by Chanchos's Tommy Gun, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 34th minute Donatello Cacheres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Firmo Canosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Martxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concetto Mascitti took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Firmo Canosa. Firmo Canosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 39 minutes into the match, Guyu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Martxot came free, but Firmo Canosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Chanchos's Rafael Martxot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Firmo Canosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Chanchos's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Cacheres came free, but Simon Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guyu FC's Firmo Canosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Martxot in the 46th minute of play. Donatello Cacheres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Simon Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
If Donatello Cacheres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Firmo Canosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Martxot in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Chanchos booed when Guyu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toro Goyanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rafael Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Chanchos fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Chanchos's Tommy Gun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alain Ramsey during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Chanchos's Simon Ribeiro got control of the ball when Donatello Cacheres tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Mascitti in the 82nd minute of play forced Guyu FC's goalkeeper Firmo Canosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Chanchos's goalkeeper Simon Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donatello Cacheres. The referee gave Chanchos a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tommy Gun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guyu FC's Firmo Canosa. 6-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guyu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chanchos.
