Radu Bulă came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Firmo Canosa could save by the left post. Guyu FC's Firmo Canosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Guyu FC from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guyu FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 87th minute of the match, Flavinho Mello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Firmo Canosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 89 minutes into the match, Guyu FC's Francesco Ziguenza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jailson Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Breguete FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
