Breguete FC's Jailson Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Breguete FC from getting a goal against them. Bruno Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Breguete FC defense, Ludwig Hägg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jailson Soares. The Breguete FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jailson Soares should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neville Staples during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Saint Glenn Gothenburg got a freekick which was hit by Neville Staples. Lennart Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Bulă came free, but Lennart Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jailson Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludwig Hägg's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 30th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Flavinho Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jailson Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Hägg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute Radu Bulă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demesio Faxardo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Demesio Faxardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Flavinho Mello made the kick off in the second half. Ludwig Hägg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Adilson Ortiz's late challenge caught a Saint Glenn Gothenburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adilson Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Demesio Faxardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jailson Soares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saint Glenn Gothenburg reached it. Ludwig Hägg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Neville Staples kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Ludwig Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugênio de Carvalho scored 2-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Juhlin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jailson Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Hägg, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Eugênio de Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennart Juhlin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
