In the 87th minute Concetto Spione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Hägglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anthony Muzzatti fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calatafimi Segesta's protests and gave Anthony Muzzatti a yellow card for diving instead. Thomas Hägglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Muzzatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Calatafimi Segesta fully deserved thier win.
