The supporters of Calatafimi Segesta booed when 2kC Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Zaworski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Carrea, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Muzzatti, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Ulryk Merski fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 2kC Poznań's protests and gave Ulryk Merski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Merski to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Alexander Di Fabrizio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulryk Merski struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Armando Buinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 2kC Poznań. Armando Buinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Merski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Rutkowski came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Calatafimi Segesta's Anthony Muzzatti. But to his dismay, Anthony Muzzatti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Di Fabrizio in the 21st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Armando Buinton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 2kC Poznań's attentive Veijo Väätäinen managed to snatch the ball when Donato Scalabrino made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute Janusz Pusiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Rutkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Aceto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janusz Pusiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Buinton having to interfere. In the 35th minute Ferdinando Aceto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Rutkowski came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Calatafimi Segesta's Ferdinando Aceto. But to his dismay, Ferdinando Aceto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Armando Buinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulryk Merski in the 37th minute. 2kC Poznań's Veijo Väätäinen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Donato Scalabrino, made in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Calatafimi Segesta's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Dylla came free, but Armando Buinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2kC Poznań's Veijo Väätäinen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Donato Scalabrino, made in the 41st minute of the game. 43 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Aceto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calatafimi Segesta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 2kC Poznań the free kick. A collision led to Calatafimi Segesta getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ferdinando Aceto hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Calatafimi Segesta defense, Janusz Pusiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Buinton. The Calatafimi Segesta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Buinton should have stopped the shot. Armando Buinton made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ulryk Merski sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthony Muzzatti made a kick off. Tadeusz Rutkowski made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Anthony Muzzatti sent off a good shot on target. Stanislaw Kisielka hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Kisielka. In the 60th minute Lucjan Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 61st minute of play. Dennis Di Placido made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alexander Di Fabrizio however managed to control. In the 70th minute Beppe Carrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Rutkowski was a little too slow when Beppe Carrea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 2-3. Calatafimi Segesta made a substitution. Concetto Spione replaced Ferdinando Aceto. After a rather tough play, Calatafimi Segesta's Alexander Di Fabrizio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 90 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Spione. In the 92nd minute, Lucjan Sokol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 2kC Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
