In the 11thth minute of the game Ivar Wallengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Prestes in the 19th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Wetterqvist Boys BK got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Larsson. In the 24th minute, Gustaf Snell fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Caco Azevedo, passed just outside the right post. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Snell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Wallengren struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Caco Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wetterqvist Boys BK. After a defensive mix-up in SORRISO E. C.'s zone, Gustaf Snell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Azevedo came out of the goal and Gustaf Snell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Prestes in the 33rd minute of play forced Wetterqvist Boys BK's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Dahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Erik Låsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber da Costa came free, but Nils-Åke Dahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caco Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Larsson made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SORRISO E. C.'s Edmílson da Rocha. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Prestes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ivar Wallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute of the match Wetterqvist Boys BK got a corner. SORRISO E. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustaf Snell ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Sven-Erik Låsberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Caco Azevedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Snell in the 60th minute of play. Caco Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Snell, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Wetterqvist Boys BK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gustaf Snell hit a great ball. Wetterqvist Boys BK were furious when Jan-Olof Björk was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Wetterqvist Boys BK made a substitution. SORRISO E. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivar Wallengren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
