A hard and well directed shot from Murilo Prestes led 9 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Trisomía 21 FC's Nereo Tibalt became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Cléber da Costa took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Tibalt. Nereo Tibalt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Murilo Prestes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nereo Tibalt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nereo Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber da Costa in the 21st minute of play. Cléber da Costa scored 0-4 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Tibalt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Murilo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Gaston Ospetsu could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Caco Azevedo however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute, Cléber da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SORRISO E. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Murilo Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Prestes to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Trisomía 21 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Prestes came free, but Nereo Tibalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.'s Cléber da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When SORRISO E. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Murilo Prestes sped through Trisomía 21 FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nereo Tibalt. 94 minutes into the game, SORRISO E. C.'s Cléber da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Tibalt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. When the match was over SORRISO E. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trisomía 21 FC throughout the match.
