After 7 minutes, Mauro Paulista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Compostela FSCMZ and the Lech Max players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lech Max's Mikolaj Kuszczak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cesar Peyo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Krzysztof Bycofski kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Cesar Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsoko Balmaceda in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Compostela FSCMZ defense, Otsoko Balmaceda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Peyo. The Compostela FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Peyo should have stopped the shot. After the first half Lech Max were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cesar Peyo was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Otsoko Balmaceda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Otsoko Balmaceda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krzysztof Bycofski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Lech Max played a much better game than Compostela FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Compostela FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
