After 4 played minutes KS Zryw Rybitwy got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Dzerwucki. 6 minutes into the game, Edward Niedzwiecki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marcelinho Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Luizão Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaboudjan's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstanty Klimkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Grzegorz Dankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, KS Zryw Rybitwy's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Albuquerque came free, but Konstanty Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Niedzwiecki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelinho Abraão came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Niedzwiecki slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. With his leg Marcelinho Abraão managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when KS Zryw Rybitwy's Andrzej Sawicki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when KS Zryw Rybitwy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Ochabski didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Edward Niedzwiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Andrzej Sawicki's late challenge caught a Karaboudjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrzej Sawicki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KS Zryw Rybitwy getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Andrzej Sawicki hit a great ball. In the 89th minute KS Zryw Rybitwy were awarded a corner. Wiktor Raflewski went to the cornerflag to take it. Czeslaw Fujarczuk kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aírton Oliveira got free with Konstanty Klimkiewicz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The KS Zryw Rybitwy players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
