The audience thought a goal was coming when Aírton Oliveira got free with Konstanty Klimkiewicz in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of KS Zryw Rybitwy booed when Karaboudjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes KS Zryw Rybitwy got a freekick which was hit by Edward Niedzwiecki. In the 31st minute of the match Karaboudjan got a corner. KS Zryw Rybitwy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felippe Monteiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Karaboudjan's Fernandinho Albuquerque getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Edward Niedzwiecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Albuquerque in the 35th minute of play forced KS Zryw Rybitwy's goalkeeper Konstanty Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Sawicki to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Edward Niedzwiecki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelinho Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Niedzwiecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Luizão Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KS Zryw Rybitwy made a substitution. A collision led to KS Zryw Rybitwy getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Wiktor Raflewski hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KS Zryw Rybitwy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
