The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Ceresoli to strike the kick off in the second half. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Ceresoli in the 92nd minute of play forced Brödraskapets Församling's goalkeeper Nils Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foot Ball Club di Roma's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
