The Gunners's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Neşat Hazar scored to the left of an out of position Dennis Wallin, making the score, 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, The Gunners's goalkeeper Dennis Wallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maura Icardi. The Gunners's Dennis Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidal Domingo in the 20th minute of play. Vidal Domingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Neşat Hazar made the kick off in the second half. Andreas Ahlbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Neşat Hazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dennis Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Yin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With 72 minutes on the clock, Stig Norström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 72 played minutes The Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Stig Norström. After having played for 73 minutes, Ahmet Harun Atacan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
