In the 17thth minute of the game Eusébio Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilma Palma's Ronaldão Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Ronaldão Penha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Cosme in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldão Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alfred Bourlier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mans's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Bourlier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldão Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner led Vilma Palma's Pastor Ortle to fire away a dangerous shot which Erdinç Yalgın despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 37 played minutes Vilma Palma got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Henrico. Ronaldão Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Cosme in the 41st minute of the match. Côme Collet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Eusébio Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Sanna in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Ronaldão Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Cosme went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Gartzi during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
