The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josef Hellbom got free with Ergün Şener in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, NoWayOut's Pascal Klingen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adilson do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Reggie Clement hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Adilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Freddie in the 12th minute of the match. Ergün Şener was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reggie Clement showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, NoWayOut's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie Clement came free, but Ergün Şener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Zülfü Yalazay notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Al-Slottshöjden's Adilson do Vale. Ergün Şener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Ahlbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Al-Slottshöjden's Adilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Slottshöjden from getting a goal against them.
