In the 11th minute Armando Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Cui Zheng came free, but Adilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Reggie Clement made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reggie Clement stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Josu Valls received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Adilson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Reggie Clement left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Juan Giraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josef Hellbom's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute Hugo Söderkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Clement in the 75th minute of play. Al-Slottshöjden's Josef Hellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Forever Tango made a substitution. Rodrigo Corderro replaced Juan Raúl Amuchástegui. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cui Zheng in the 79th minute of play forced Al-Slottshöjden's goalkeeper Adilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Al-Slottshöjden's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Omar Santo scored to the left of an out of position Adilson do Vale, making the score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
