Guaberto Curcio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. venturinha F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 8 minutes into the match, Power Soccer Best Club's goalkeeper Ken Givens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Fuertes. After having played for 9 minutes, Esteban Fuertes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. venturinha F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Fuertes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Mark Griffin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Power Soccer Best Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave venturinha F.C. the free kick. Ken Givens went to the wrong direction when Saul Arano was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 16th minute, one of Power Soccer Best Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Power Soccer Best Club. In the 17th minute, venturinha F.C. got a penalty, and Saul Arano placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Damian Raebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolland Pike in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Esteban Fuertes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The venturinha F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ken Givens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Curcio in the 28th minute of play. Esteban Fuertes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ken Givens was a little too slow when Esteban Fuertes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 5-0. Ken Givens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Curcio in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Esteban Fuertes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Power Soccer Best Club's Mark Griffin got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Power Soccer Best Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Temple to maneuver through the defense. Damian Raebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry Agoos in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Power Soccer Best Club's zone, Guaberto Curcio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ken Givens came out of the goal and Guaberto Curcio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kerry Agoos was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Guaberto Curcio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ken Givens was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When Guaberto Curcio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ken Givens was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Wilber Eastman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Power Soccer Best Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave venturinha F.C. the free kick. After 55 played minutes Power Soccer Best Club got a freekick which was hit by Wilber Eastman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Curcio in the 56th minute of play forced Power Soccer Best Club's goalkeeper Ken Givens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of venturinha F.C. booed when Power Soccer Best Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilber Eastman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Guaberto Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. venturinha F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Curcio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ken Givens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Power Soccer Best Club's Mark Griffin got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Mark Griffin off the ground. In the 72nd match minute, Power Soccer Best Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Griffin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Esteban Fuertes managed to get in a good position for a shot. venturinha F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Fuertes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ken Givens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kerry Agoos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match.
