Ovidio Raymundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastián Torrico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Raymundo ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osmar Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joao Zuazo in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joao Zuazo in the 24th minute of play forced XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Osmar Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led GreenUnited's Edward Chaniago to fire away a dangerous shot which Osmar Antunes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when XV de Indaial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, XV de Indaial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Galvão to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Farr in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osmar Antunes saved XV de Indaial from getting behind. A collision led to XV de Indaial getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cássio Valle hit a great ball. Altay Timurkan kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 78th minute, when GreenUnited's Edward Chaniago after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Osmar Antunes in XV de Indaial's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. With a little luck, XV de Indaial's Osmar Antunes got control of the ball when Max Stevens tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Max Farr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osmar Antunes. XV de Indaial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Max Farr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Josué Galvão fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XV de Indaial's protests and gave Josué Galvão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, XV de Indaial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Galvão to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Ovidio Raymundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XV de Indaial fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. GreenUnited played a much better game than XV de Indaial and deserved their victory. The XV de Indaial players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
