The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, F.C. SPERANTZA's Roman Sobko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Kugler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 12th minute, Roman Sobko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Kugler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, GTV Ostsee's goal looked a bit too open when Yevgen Sokolyanskyi came free, but Karl Kugler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Godfredo De la Torre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marjan Yatsenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 27 in the game by Hugo Emmel from a close distance when the talented Marjan Yatsenko managed to make a qualified save. F.C. SPERANTZA's players were relieved. Karl Kugler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Sobko, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Karl Kugler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Mnich in the 36th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Yevgen Sokolyanskyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The GTV Ostsee players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C. SPERANTZA were winning 0-2.

Marjan Yatsenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Kismi in the 87th minute of the match. F.C. SPERANTZA played a much better game than GTV Ostsee and deserved their victory. The GTV Ostsee players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
