With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cyprian Podolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anier Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guansa's goalkeeper Cornelio Asteri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cornelio Asteri made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Wincenty Chlebek sent off a good shot on target. If Wincenty Chlebek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Guansa booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Pilitowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyprian Podolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Baristo in the 74th minute. Guansa's Cornelio Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Chlebek in the 81st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Wincenty Chlebek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Asteri was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.
