A sloppy throw-in by Kaljo Kravik in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Guansa's Edgard Bazkoare. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Olguín in the 21st minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Cornelio Asteri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Torreoncito's Pedro Olguín made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Okopny, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cornelio Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Okopny in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Edgard Bazkoare hit a great ball. Gerard Norambuena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Asteri having to interfere. Guansa's Edgard Bazkoare got his second yellow card of the match in the 48th minute. The referee ordered Edgard Bazkoare off the ground. Edgard Bazkoare kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. Torreoncito's Lucas Bünzli was substituted for Pedro Olguín. Edgard Bazkoare hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Cornelio Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Norambuena in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Borys Okopny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borys Okopny scored 0-5 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Asteri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Torreoncito booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Baristo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Torreoncito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. When the match clock showed 99 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Borys Okopny sped through Guansa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cornelio Asteri. The Guansa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Torreoncito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
