Spectators: 7584 (Terracing: 5689, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) 6 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Hílton Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulão Medeiros. In the 7th minute Set Master shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diguinho Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard de Almeida having to interfere. The throw-in from Eurico Velloso in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético da Colina's Ash Sands. In the 13th minute Set Master shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Souza in the 14th minute of the match. Diguinho Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard de Almeida having to make a save. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Set Master in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Set Master notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida. Edgard de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgard de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard de Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hílton Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Eurico Velloso in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético da Colina's Tom Demange. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Souza in the 34th minute of play. Wilson do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Hílton Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesclarense E.C.. Edgard de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Souza in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Atlético da Colina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Eurico Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Hílton Dias made a huge save. Hílton Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Medeiros in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulão Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgard de Almeida had great luck who in the 54thth minute grab hold of the ball when Diguinho Souza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eurico Velloso hit a great ball. Atlético da Colina's Denílson Schmidt was substituted for Gu Xiong Bang. Atlético da Colina's Lucas Moura was substituted for Cristiano Carrasqueira. Diguinho Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Edgard de Almeida made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Schmidt in the 66th minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Hílton Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Diguinho Souza sent off a good shot on target. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Montesclarense E.C. from getting a goal against them. Diguinho Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Paulão Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montesclarense E.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chants of Atlético da Colina echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Montesclarense E.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
