Haakon á Borg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Bălanescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haakon á Borg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Dragan in the 27th minute of the match. Haakon á Borg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Dragan in the 29th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Jörn Helström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos-Evangelista Didarov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jörn Helström made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Claudiu Dragan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jörn Helström struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Marcos-Evangelista Didarov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cura del Futbol. Marcos-Evangelista Didarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Bonifacio Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marcos-Evangelista Didarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Bălanescu's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Bălanescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes DINAMO PLOIESTI got a freekick which was hit by George Bălanescu. 78 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when George Bălanescu came free, but Haakon á Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cura del Futbol's Haakon á Borg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Bălanescu in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the Cura del Futbol defense, Claudiu Dragan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haakon á Borg. The Cura del Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haakon á Borg should have stopped the shot. DINAMO PLOIESTI's Marcos-Evangelista Didarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Helström in the 85th minute of play. Claudiu Dragan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Haakon á Borg made a huge save. Haakon á Borg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudiu Dragan in the 93rd minute.
