In the 3rd minute Diguinho Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louie Hicks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diguinho Souza spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Wakefield Wanderers's goal. Diguinho Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Louie Hicks having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Souza in the 5th minute of play forced Wakefield Wanderers's goalkeeper Louie Hicks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Diguinho Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louie Hicks was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Wakefield Wanderers's Louie Hicks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Wakefield Wanderers from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Diguinho Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético da Colina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Wakefield Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Souza came free, but Louie Hicks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jez Rushforth hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Diguinho Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wakefield Wanderers's Louie Hicks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Louie Hicks stood somewhat misplaced when Diguinho Souza came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. When Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wakefield Wanderers's goalie prevented a goal. Louie Hicks was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Diguinho Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diguinho Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 25 minutes into the game, David Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Louie Hicks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Diguinho Souza put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Louie Hicks. Wakefield Wanderers's Louie Hicks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Souza in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Diguinho Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Louie Hicks. Wakefield Wanderers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diguinho Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Jez Rushforth hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Jeff Duffy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Dias having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.
The wind increased when Diguinho Souza made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Wakefield Wanderers's Kristian Tanner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kristian Tanner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wakefield Wanderers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kristian Tanner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 52nd minute, one of Wakefield Wanderers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wakefield Wanderers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Set Master in the 56th minute of play forced Wakefield Wanderers's goalkeeper Louie Hicks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louie Hicks came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza. But to his dismay, Diguinho Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Louie Hicks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Diguinho Souza scored 10-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Louie Hicks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético da Colina's Denílson Schmidt was substituted for Gu Xiong Bang. Diguinho Souza scored 11-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Louie Hicks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Diguinho Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louie Hicks was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. In the 80th minute, Diguinho Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Set Master in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Louie Hicks saved Wakefield Wanderers from getting behind. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wakefield Wanderers's goalkeeper Louie Hicks, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Souza in the 85th minute of play forced Wakefield Wanderers's goalkeeper Louie Hicks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louie Hicks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diguinho Souza went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Fraser Bond in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético da Colina's Waldir Andrade. In the 91stth minute of the game Diguinho Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wakefield Wanderers's Louie Hicks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Louie Hicks came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza. But to his dismay, Diguinho Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. Conan Blake kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Samúel Mane sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Louie Hicks skillfully saved the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Diguinho Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Louie Hicks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atlético da Colina fully deserved thier win.
