Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedrinho Hoffmann started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel de Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 6thth minute of the game Pedrinho Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margarita's Danilo Aires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 7 minutes Margarita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ren Ang Ming who took care of the corner kick. Perivaldo Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Aires having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Margarita's Evelio Medardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eulalio Montrel. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. When Adan Lorencio came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Margarita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Lorencio couldn't finish the play. Atlético-PR's Eulalio Montrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Atlético-PR from getting a goal against them. When Samuel de Souza fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético-PR's protests and gave Samuel de Souza a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Luciano Mon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eulalio Montrel, 2-0. In the 39th minute Higinio Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Atlético-PR's Eulalio Montrel got control of the ball when Higinio Urti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Perivaldo Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Sampaio in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Margarita's goalkeeper Danilo Aires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perivaldo Sampaio. Danilo Aires made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Pedrinho Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. Pedrinho Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Danilo Aires made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Margarita's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedrinho Hoffmann fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eulalio Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Mon in the 64th minute of play. Atlético-PR's Cyprian Rykaczewski was substituted for Márcio Cruz. Atlético-PR's Hong Jian Fan was substituted for Pedrinho Hoffmann. In the 71st minute Luciano Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Hong Jian Fan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cyprian Rykaczewski fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético-PR's protests and gave Cyprian Rykaczewski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Cyprian Rykaczewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Mon in the 94th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Eulalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Margarita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
