Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrinho Hoffmann to make the kick off. Atlético-PR's Perivaldo Sampaio pulled a muscle in his leg after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After some careless play in the KS Zgredy defense, Pedrinho Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pawel Dembkowski. The KS Zgredy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pawel Dembkowski should have stopped the shot. Atlético-PR's Hong Jian Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Hong Jian Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ren Ang Ming hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 98th minute of play forced KS Zgredy's goalkeeper Pawel Dembkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
