Carlos Eduardo Dante spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of WKS Śląsk Wrocław's goal. After some careless play in the WKS Śląsk Wrocław defense, Carlos Eduardo Dante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Volkan Ünalmış. The WKS Śląsk Wrocław fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Volkan Ünalmış should have stopped the shot. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Kent in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, FC DNV Bratiskava's Carlos Eduardo Dante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Volkan Ünalmış was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Carlos Eduardo Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Eduardo Dante might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volkan Ünalmış. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 94th match minute, WKS Śląsk Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Porajewski to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC DNV Bratiskava had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
