Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mauricio Ekaitz kicked off to start the match. Samuel Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hu Yao Nan in the 4th minute of the match. Régis Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Sans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hu Yao Nan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hu Yao Nan got free with Samuel Evarado in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Evarado was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Hu Yao Nan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hu Yao Nan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Garibaldi in the 21st minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Garibaldi in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Mauricio Ekaitz got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Dedê Tróia got a free kick in the 26th minute. Samuel Evarado was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Taci Özerman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taci Özerman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Hu Yao Nan might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Evarado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hu Yao Nan ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado got control of the ball when Hu Yao Nan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hu Yao Nan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Evarado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Gonzalo Corderro's late challenge caught a Toni Kroos MGZ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Corderro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Javier Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Yao Nan in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Toni Kroos MGZ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taci Özerman to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Yao Nan in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hu Yao Nan came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Toni Kroos MGZ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hu Yao Nan couldn't finish the play. Hu Yao Nan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Samuel Evarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermosillo FC made a substitution. Alejandro Lope replaced Javier Quentin. Samuel Evarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Yao Nan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Twan Sans notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Régis Leite. Régis Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Hermosillo FC's zone, Hu Yao Nan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Evarado came out of the goal and Hu Yao Nan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Taci Özerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hu Yao Nan scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Evarado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hu Yao Nan took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Evarado. Samuel Evarado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Toni Kroos MGZ™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hermosillo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
