The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Palmkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Pelle Smedfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Henrique Candal rounded StraX Xenon FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Vito de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torbjörn Brummer went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Brummer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vito de Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Smedfeldt in the 27th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Matos Velhos booed when StraX Xenon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Smedfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Candal to maneuver through the defense. StraX Xenon FC's Mattias Olofsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save StraX Xenon FC from getting a goal against them. Sabino Vilhena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mattias Olofsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Gentil in the 40th minute of the match. Vito de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torbjörn Brummer went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Vito de Godoi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by StraX Xenon FC's Jakob Palmkvist. But to his dismay, Jakob Palmkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Gentil to make the kick off. Vito de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Torbjörn Brummer sent off a good shot on target. Mattias Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Gentil in the 58th minute of play. The corner ended in Júlio Gentil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but StraX Xenon FC's Mattias Olofsson did a great save. When Matos Velhos's Júlio Gentil in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye StraX Xenon FC's goalie prevented a goal. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Palmkvist in the 66th minute of play. Mattias Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Vilhena, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, StraX Xenon FC's Villiam Johnsson got a free kick in the 69th minute. StraX Xenon FC's Joacim Andersson was substituted for Jonas Hellqvist. A collision led to Matos Velhos getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lee Beckford hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Gentil came free, but Mattias Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's Pelle Smedfeldt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mattias Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Nietlisbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattias Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Nietlisbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Tord Böcklund lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Tord Böcklund got a free kick in the 89th minute. Pelle Smedfeldt struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Vito de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StraX Xenon FC. Mattias Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özdemir Saygur in the 95th minute of play. The StraX Xenon FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing StraX Xenon FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
