Sílvio Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Flamme having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's zone, Epifanio Gagriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Amor came out of the goal and Epifanio Gagriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arí Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Rafael Flamme made a huge save. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Furia Calamar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Facundo Guerrero took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Furia Calamar's goalie and right to Sílvio Dantas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Furia Calamar's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 45th minute, Conrado Savion made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Amor. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Furia Calamar made a substitution. Damaso Sotero replaced Epifanio Gagriel. Furia Calamar's Erubiel Arotza was substituted for Niklas Alströmer. Furia Calamar's Nemesio Suarez was substituted for Jozef Barmoš. After a rather tough play, Furia Calamar's Baldomero Amato got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Furia Calamar's Rafael Flamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero da Costa in the 75th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Rolando Delfino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melquiades Amor. Rolando Delfino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Melquiades Amor made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Rolando Delfino sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Sotero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Furia Calamar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA.
