The attack was good, but when Júlio Gentil in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 31 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Gagriel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Gentil in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. A hard shot 42 in the game by Júlio Gentil from a close distance when the talented Rafael Flamme managed to make a qualified save. Furia Calamar's players were relieved. Furia Calamar's Rafael Flamme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Furia Calamar from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Furia Calamar's Julián Quintero was substituted for Conrado Savion. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Gentil made a kick off. Furia Calamar made a substitution. Nemesio Suarez replaced Kami Glik. Kami Glik hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Matos Velhos's Sabino Vilhena got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Martin Lindman got a free kick in the 64th minute. Vito de Godoi came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Furia Calamar's Rolando Delfino. But to his dismay, Rolando Delfino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Matos Velhos's Generoso Silvino got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Lee Beckford replaced Henrique Candal. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Karl Nietlisbach replaced Sabino Vilhena. After 79 minutes Matos Velhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jozef Barmoš who took care of the corner kick. Rafael Flamme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Beckford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi got control of the ball when Jozef Barmoš tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Gentil came free, but Rafael Flamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Delfino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Vito de Godoi made a huge save. Rafael Flamme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lee Beckford went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Ning Hui came free, but Vito de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Matos Velhos had won after a very even match.
